PM-237 Software Project Manager – Temp-to-Perm – Spokane, WA
Rate/Salary: BOE
A high-growth software company in Spokane needs a PM to manage new software development projects.
The company develops web-based software for its direct clients in the travel and financial industries. You will be responsible for defining projects requirements, creating project plans, lining up resources, getting the projects developed, etc.
Note: You will not be the direct manager of the developers—there is a existing Software Engineer Manager and a VP of Technical Operations who do that. Instead, you will request resources from the software engineer manger, the QA manager, etc. to be allocated to projects as needed and be the PM for the projects.
Typical development life cycles are six to nine months, and the average team size is about 10 people. The software is written in C# and .NET.
The client is a start-up with over 140 employees and expects to double in size again over the next 12 months. The main bottleneck for growth is finding PMs to manage all the new projects!
The client is looking for PMs with excellent people, communication and organizational skills.
Requirements:
o. Demonstrated success as a software PM (Required)
o. Excellent people, communication and organizational skills (Required)
Notes:
o. Local candidates are preferred but the client WILL consider non-local candidates.
o. Authorized US or Canadian workers only. Sorry, but we cannot sponsor or transfer H1 visas.
