So Much Better
I went to the Bayside Broiler last summer, and It was ok... but I was not impressed. I randomly went back last week and had a great time. The food was excellent, I even talked to the chef, who visited our table to see how the food was.

I especially enjoyed the seafood enchiladas, and the miniature desserts offered at the end of the meal. The creme brulee was fantastic!! - Victor , posted 01/16/08

not a fan
the company I work held a party at the Bay side, and it was horribly mis-manged!! The meals were not delivered on time, some were not even warm. Flavors were bland, and un-memorable. They did mix a flavorful cocktail, so if your meeting for drinks and munches go for it...but for a meal there are better places to chow down. - Dawn , posted 08/08/07

Pouslbo Bayside
Bayside Broiler is located on the waterfront next to the port of poulsbo. It's a great location. They've got a huge deck facing the sunset and the mountains. They are in the upstairs part of the building, formerly known as the Viking House, so it's not wheelchair freindly. Nearby parking gets iffy during the summer months between 6-8pm. The lot is filled with People visiting the waterfront park, local businesses and the marina.

The seared Ahi starter is pretty good as well as bacon wrapped prawns. The lunch menu includes stuffed sandwhiches and a build-your own-burger that gives a lot of options.
update:> removed sunday brunch Buffet . I stopped going there so I haven't seen if the brunch buffet is back.

The bar itself is a small , but has
no distractions like Television or loud rock music blaring, so it's a nice setting for small meetings.
update> Barstools were removed. There's some regular tables and a loveseat / chair combo so a four or five people could lounge and chat but not any belly up to the bar.

Dinner entree's range in price from about $15 to $40. They come up with some interesting ideas on the freshsheet, which are sometimes a miss, but generally really good, such as Bacon wrapped Duck skewers.

Bayside tries for a fine dining experience invoking no particular genre of food.

. Most complaints I hear are about time waiting to be served.
update> problems with orders

7/30/05 I Revised my rating it bit due to Bayside having problems keeping items in stock, and a heavy staff rotation. Most of the staff there are still very freindly.

10/06/05 Haven't been back in some months. - Michael , posted 10/07/07
