Los Cabos Resturant in Poulsbo
Los Cabos is a somewhat low key mexican resturant , not "Southwestern" (i.e. add $5 for a sprig of Cilantro ). It is located next to Highway 305 in Poulsbo across from the Poulsbo Inn. Los Cabos is run by Roberto, who has resided in Poulsbo for several years and formerly owned Bayside Broiler and Tequila's sports bar. Roberto is a very freindly guy from Guadalajara who tries to greet everyone and takes an interest in knowing if you enjoy your meal. This Month (August 05) He has joined the effort to get our Marine Science center in Poulsbo reopen, by donating 30 percent of his profits .
Some of the tasty things to look for are the huge
Brocheta's platter as well as the
fabulous "T-Bone Especial" which is a really great
value for a grilled piece of steak. I enjoy it topped with Pico de Gallo and fresh squeezed lime. They've revised the menu recently adding more seafood items, and tasty ranchero style beans as an option in place of refried beans.
They have a small bar with two of my favorite beers; Pacifico and Dos X Amber
update 10/06/07 Haven't been in awhile. The highway 305 work next to it makes it more challenging to get in and out. Last time I was there had some problems with being served burnt flour tortillas for Tacos and sent it back.
