Real fly-in fun, best $100 hamburger in Washington!
Elma, Washington has a wonderful little diner situated right on the landing strip just outside town. And I do mean little. But don't let the slightly run down appearance fool you, it has great food, great service, and the best mushroom-swiss hamburgers I've ever had! Their food is fresh and well prepared, and the owner is the head cook. Or you can get a nice cold milkshake to drink out at the picnic benches as you watch small planes land in the summer. They even won "friendliest waitress in Grays Harbor" and were nominated for "best hamburger in Grays Harbor."

Note to pilots: Elma Municipal (4W8) does not have fuel service, but it's just 30 miles west of Olympia (OLM), which does. The runway is not very long, 2280' by 30,' but it is paved. The place is open to drivers and fliers and pretty much everybody else. Come in the afternoon if you don't want a crowd. - Unsubscribed , posted 05/21/07
